Each community, workspace, city, or other ecosystem consists of a unique energy blueprint. There are no cookie-cutter frameworks; that’s why Pioneer Infrastructure uses novelty techniques to analyze the “genetic” makeup in any one system and configures a solution tailored to the requirements of each environment in order to maximize energy performance.
Our approach works to intelligently optimize infrastructure energy production and consumption by creating an energy equilibrium between distributed energy sources – solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and energy storage systems – and analyzing environmental factors.
We analyze the energy generation mix of the power sources that will be readily available given the location and environment of the project. Based on the energy demand and availability of power sources we can develop a solution that will optimize power generation and evenly distribute the electrical flow of energy between the power sources. This will help create a system that can efficiently handle consumption.

Leadership & the Team
Brett Kemmer is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Pioneer Infrastructure. He manages the day-to-day operations and is credited for providing the vision, thought, and leadership that led to the creation of Pioneer Infrastructure. He has an extensive background and history in landscaping, planning, and management. Brett received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management (BBA) through Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2011. He then worked in the industry for a few years before continuing his education at the University of Saskatchewan, where he completed a degree in Applied Sciences (BASc).
Brett is highly driven by innovation, respect, and enthusiasm. He is exceptionally passionate about upholding these values and demonstrating how to be a good citizen & leader. His early work in landscaping and construction inspired the idea to start a company that can lead the way to a sustainable future and re-invest in our communities.

Karun is our in-house accountant, with a Master’s degree in Science & Business Management in Accounting from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. He has also completed a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Accounting, Payroll compliance, and Investment funds in Canada. When he’s not busy crunching numbers, you might find him with his head in a book or spending time with his three-year-old son watching SpongeBob.
