Municipal Climate Change Action Centre (MCCAC)

The Municipal Climate Change Action Centre (MCCAC) is a collaborative initiative founded in 2009 by Alberta Municipalities, Rural Municipalities of Alberta, and the Government of Alberta. Its mission is to help Alberta municipalities, school authorities, and community organizations take action to address climate change by providing funding, technical assistance, and education. The MCCAC offers various programs aimed at lowering energy costs, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving climate resilience.
